Re: Piano Transcriptions for two hands
Well, the Op30 scan was a pdf made directly from HP's own s/w,
whereas the Op3 scan from a year later was made by producing
separate bmps from XP's s/w, then the pdf was made using Irfanview.
The contrast and clarity are better this way.

Re: Piano Transcriptions for two hands
Hi all, I would like to know if exists a piano 2 hands transcription of the Piano Concerto n.2 op.18 by Sergey Rachmaninoff, especially the wonderful secondo movement. I heard about a piano solo transcription by Gary D. Lloyd, but it's available only in midi format.
Could anyone help me please? thanks alot in advance!
best regards
Luca

Re: Piano Transcriptions for two hands
If you mean a "true 2H", i.e. piano part interpolated with the orchestra the answer is no.
A very bad "false 2H", i.e. piano part only with some little reduced orchestral parts when the piano is silent, was circulating since 2003 (attached)

Was my repost of Op30 No3 (and Op3 (not previously in the publicmr_roberts_z wrote:Are all the Louis Winkler transcriptions of Beethoven's works lost that already haven't been uploaded?
According to Opus Transcribisticum, he has the only complete 2H reductions of the Trio, Op.97, the 4-hands sonata, Op.6, and the Violin Sonata, Op.30 #3.
Does anybody know if they are available at any libraries or archives?

Btw, thank you Caprotti for the Rachmaninov.

It was absolutely to my satisfaction. Thank you very much again, to both you and Caprotti. I wish I could do more here than just shamelessly request stuff (like a Winkler-ized Op. 96?Timtin wrote:Was my repost of Op30 No3 (and Op3 (not previously in the publicmr_roberts_z wrote:Are all the Louis Winkler transcriptions of Beethoven's works lost that already haven't been uploaded?

Well, here it is, but again it's not of the greatest scan quality.

Re: Piano Transcriptions for two hands
Is there anyone, who has got notes of Anton Rubinstein's piano transcription of Turkish March #4 Op.113 by Beethoven?
I'd be wery happy if somebody would post notes of it. Please?
(I mean this transcription: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VhHxqfOJ ... re=related )
