Sincere apologies for a couple places where bits of score were cut out by the scanner, I added sticky notes to fill in the missing information. This took forever to scan so I could not preview any segments until final processing of the entire document. If I can scan again some time in the future I will try and do so.

This work is pretty incredible, it is shocking that it is all but unknown (read the introduction), a lovely and impressive opening on a Foster theme then a survey of music history from pre-Baroque through modern times with each variation in the style of a representative composer (a Bach invention, a Reger Fugue, a Chopin Polonaise, a Liszt Rhapsody, Wagner, Szymanowksi, etc... and a fantastic finale in a Gershwin version in the Rhapsody in Blue style!)

Scanner refused or orient the score the right way, a simple 'rotate view' should fix scrolling in acrobat.

Scriabinoff, thank you so much for the Metamorphoses score of Haubiel.
It looks a fascinating work. A lot of work has been put in for this copy,
and I for one, am very grateful.
Peter.

You are all most welcome! I re-visited the file a few sticky note labels did not save to the uploaded file.
Here are a few more in case I recall correctly that these were missing (scanner cut them off of top of the page)

Var 14 Verdi Il Trovatore
Var 15 Franck Prelude
Var 17 Grieg The Fjord
Var 18 Tchaikovsky Lament
Var 20 Reger Fugue
Var 25 Stavinsky Senza Espressione (Allegro)

8-)

Scriabinoff,
Thanks for the Haubiel Variations, funny stuff.
I allowed me to re-work your scan a little bit.
Thanks again and best regards.

Many thanks to Scriabinoff for making this amazing score available,
and to FW190 for the tweaks to it.
It has to be one the most significant uploads PP has had for a while imho.
Regards, Tim.

A set of 8 Klavierstücke Op.1 by Albert Israel Elkus (30 April 1884 - 19 February 1962). These appeared on IMSLP a while back. I converted these to B&W at the request of a colleague, leaving out the color covers and combining the original 4 volumes into 1.

An unusual Berceuse indeed! And apparently from an unsuccessful composer of musical theater.
