I copied the Wiener Sonatine No.2 some months ago, but did not dare to scan and post it...
In case anybody has not yet got this one:

Dear Alfor,

Thank you for the information about Sonatine No. 2...I was unaware of its existence. I certainly have the Sonata which you generously shared with us all through your upload page, and it is a fine piece of music.

Moderators: Could you please thoughtfully consider allowing Alfor to post his already-scanned copy of Jean Wiener's Sonatine No. 2? It is of the greatest rarity, and I can assure you that few libraries let alone collectors have a copy of this score. Obtaining a copy by any other means than Alfor's posting would be virtually impossible.

Sorry for any confusion, but Sonatine No. 2 just has been posted by phikfy!!

I thought, the "Wiener Sonatines" are by Mozart ??
He should be dead long enough ...

My mistake on the confusion between the Wiener Sonatines. I suppose the one we should be looking for is Sonatine No. 1. Like the other Wiener classical/jazz conceptions I would imagine this to be an extremely rare score, virtually unavailable and certainly out of print for many, many years. Would anyone have the Wiener Sonatine No. 1 to share?

I would guess the Sonatine No. 1 is the "Sonatine Syncopee", which I will post in the next weeks.

I love Alkan's Grande Sonate, Op. 33. And until now (being not that knowledgeable in the area), didn't realise that many French composers wrote Sonatas between the time of its publication and the publication of Paul Dukas' Sonata in 1901(?).

To this end, does anyone know the 'Premiere Grande Sonate' of Paul Chabeaux (1854-1901). I see it is on IMSLP, but was wondering if anyone had any views on the quality of the work?

As it is his 'Premiere' sonata, he may have composed more, and perhaps uncoincidentally, the sonata is dedicated to Alkan's son Delaborde.
