Hermann Adolf Wollenhaupt (1827-1863)
Wollenhaupt wrote quite a lot of interesting piano works.
Here is his Galop di Bravura Opus 24. I was not really sure where to put this, so if wrong, please alter.

Talking of thread selection, this file is well dodgy, being a song.
But because the vocal line matches the right hand, it works equally well
as a piano piece. Very sentimental, and written by care-free Gertrude!

You are welcome, she is an interesting composer; the score uploaded is a classic example of salon music.

No hidden meaning, just me being even dafter than usual (if that's possible).
Actually, this is also worrying me from a thread-choice point of view,
Emmett Adams 'A Song Without Words' (literally). Any budding lyricists
out there could win some money by adding lyrics to it - well, you perhaps
could have done some 90 odd years ago.
