You are welcome, dear fleubis!fleubis wrote:Indeed, the Bellio piece is a charming little morsel. One wonders why it would warrant such an extended dissertation. Very well written, too (the music, that is---I don't know about the dissertation).
Thank you, Alfred.

Another rare and very nice fine, Alfred. This Boghen piece is quite lovely. According to the bio, she has a few other pieces which might be worth tracking down if they are anywhere near this quality. For shame that her opera 'Alcestis' was never performed, let alone not published.

Re: The Music of Italy
Oh dear!
I think of the pieces you have posted by Boghen, that the Prelude - Chorale is his best piece and fox trot is, well, "ho-hum". The Nostalgia is quite the nice piece.
Alfred, am delighted that you have given this composer an airing.
Got it wrong! Google translate was a little ambiguous here.Felice is an Italian MALE first name!!! Like Felix in German.

Hi everyone,
I'm looking the score of this piece of Casella, Cocktail Dance. Someone has it?
Thanks,
Duirton
