Any chance of postings by the Langgaard family? The recording of the piano concerto by Langgaard by Tony in youtube, really awakened my interest in those composers... Thanks in advance.

It's been some time since a "new" piece by Ludwig Schytte has turned up! Today I found this concert etude contained with a literally crumbling but musically wonderful Schirmer folio from 1919 entitled "Romantic Preludes and Studies for Piano", edited by the ever opinionated James Huneker! This is a very beautiful study...enjoy!

Introducing the other Nielsen:

Ludolf NIELSEN (Danish composer, 1876-1939)
Novelletter for Piano op. 21 (nms)
Nielsen, L. Novelletter op. 21.pdf
Lightweight and fairly easy, but really nice music.
Either based on scandinavian folksongs or adopting the folksong style.
Good teaching material.

Glaedenssymfoni - Symphony of Joy
Nielsen, L. Symph. #2 4hsd.pdf
Great work! Some reminiscences of Mahler 3 in the 1st mvt.

Will post a sound sample tomorrow.
