Just when I was sure there was no more Rach to be found, Alfor surprises us with this Aleko. Off to listen to this opera again which I've not heard in decades and see where these transcriptions fit. Thanks for posting this!

There is already a Rachmaninoff piano transcritption version of Aleko selections in circulationfleubis wrote:Just when I was sure there was no more Rach to be found, Alfor surprises us with this Aleko. I think it can be found here:
http://elibrary.rsl.ru/?lang=en
in detail:

(can't guarantee if that link works for others)
Fleubis, I also thought that I have everything of Rach
after collecting his scores and transcriptions for 20 years.
I was wrong.

Re: Russian & Soviet Composers - Part 3
Where does one locate Kabalevsky's Piano Concerto No. 1? Or is there a scan circulating? No current publisher is printing it, as far as I know, but I wish I am wrong.

If you are looking for Kabalevski piano concerto No. 1, opus 9 (2 pianos reduction), I have a copy of Universal Edition, A. G.
I will be glad to upload it if the site administrator approves it.
