Thank you for feedback, dear fleubis!

Posted as an example for the piano style of this hardly known Dutch composer:

Robert de ROOS
Sonatina per pianoforte
de Roos Sonatina.pdf
Equally condensed but considerably more difficult than the Ruyneman Sonatina.

Once again an alternative scan (...I know you love 'em  ):

Samuil FEINBERG
Quatre Préludes op. 8
Feinberg 4 Préludes op.8.pdf

Alfor, do you see in the Bottenberg file anything after page 5?

Sure did enjoy playing the Dragoi - very nice dances. Those melodies stick in your head. Thanks, Alfor.

No, it is just an "appetizer". You can order a copy of the complete work from the cmc.

To fleubis who likes the challenge of deciphering a composer's handwriting  .

Richard FRANCK
Polyphone Tonbilder op. 56
Consists of:
Fantasie und Fuge über das Thema B.A.C.H. (1924)
Fuge op. 4 (sic!)
Spanische Serenade für Streichquartett - Klavierauszug
Kleine Fuge aus meinem "Kinderalbum"
Franck, R. Poyphone Tonbilder op.56.pdf
Compiled somewhat at random. Musical style tends to be slightly conservative.
Deciphering maybe a bit of a challenge, otherwise of medium difficulty.

Thanks for the Frank, Alfor. It certainly is difficult to read these scores, but they are easier to decipher than fuzzy out of focus scans, for sure! Thanks for the challenge.

Willem ANDRIESSEN (Dutch composer and pianist, 1887-1964)
Sonate voor piano
Andriessen, W. Sonate.pdf
Well-crafted; of a certain northern acridness.

Editions of Albeniz Iberia.

There are currently two edited editions available with suggestions for fingering and re-distribution of hands. Today I would like to introduce you to the lesser known of the two.

Hardly known in the USA and Europe: Japanese zen-on edition (main editor: Thomas Schumacher).
A well-bound, inexpensive volume. Urtext. Translation of unusual french terms. Well-readible. Performance suggestions often helpful (imho).

Preview: LAVAPIÉS zen-on edition
Albeniz Lavapiés zen-on.pdf
This piece - imho the most demanding of the whole set - shows the author at the peak of his idiosyncratic method of spicing or how I would like to call it "dirtying-up" simple harmony (in some spots ending up at something midway between Accciaccatura and Cluster). And the interlocking of hands is carried to extremes in this piece. My current opinion regarding this point is: Use as few redistribution as possible. Although often pianistically complicating, all that crossing of the left hand will add colour to your playing!
