More excellent PWM from you Alfred. Nice to have another entry into the La Campanella sweepstakes as well as some less familiar.

Thank you, Alfred.

With all my respect, your first scans were not that good if I remember well, but you have prodigiously and quickly improved ! I must say mine were terrible and I am ashamed when I see them still floating around.

You are surely right! But I could neither find a „real“ copy
of the piece in question on my shelves nor a virtual pdf file.

Actually, I just bought by chance a real used paper score and was going to scan it when I checked in my HD and found that we had already a copy.

A nice addition of PWM's for us today. To my aged eyes the Khachaturian Toccata does seem rather primitive, yet this is the first toccata of any type I ever performed in public (too many decades ago), so a bit of nostalgia for me.

Alfred, these scans are so pristine and HIRES, they just about jump off the page. Thanks for posting these!

Dear fleubis,

thank you as always for feedback!
25 more to come - I do have the ambition, though, to post the complete series!!!

P.S. You are in good company regarding the K. Toccata. Major russian pianists did play it (I have a recording by Moiseiwitsch).

If I recall correctly, there exists a recording of Bill Evans playing the toccata.

Thanks for these shares dear Alfred.
