Tim, if you look at IMSLP you'll see that almost every music publisher is listed with a detailed list of plate numbers and years of publication. Those are the pages that any contributor must use in order to upload correctly any kind of score.

Thank you for this information Caprotti. Ideally, one could do with one
fully integrated catalogue rather than separate ones by different publishers,
with plate nos. listed in alpha-numeric order, and an associated search facility.

I note also that IMSLP's list of publishers isn't exhaustive, with some of
my favourite old publishers missing e.g. Edition-Bijou, Cranz, Schonenberger,
Edoardo Sonzogno etc. They were the ones that published some absolute gems!

I believe Edition-Bijou is not the publishers's name but the name of one collection published by Leduc.
Cranz is present and listed at August Cranz.
Timtin, as you know, IMSLP is a participative site, and you are welcome to contribute and propose additions. In particular, you are right : Schoenenberger or Schönenberger could be cited, maybe in the dependency of Lemoine as I think Lemoine bought Schoenenberger in the second half of 19th Century.

Two questions:

1.)
Does anyone know where to find the publication of Liszt's Piano Sonata in the transcription for two pianos by Camille Saint-Saens? Saint-Saens made this transcription in November, 1914, and premiered it with the pianist Louis Diemer on December 3, 1914.

2.)
Does anyone know how to find the Leo Weiner orchestral arrangement of the Liszt Sonata that was made in 1955? Supposedly the arrangement has not been published and exists only in manuscript form.

The Saint-Saens was published by Durand in a version edited by Sabina Teller Ratner in 2004; therefore it is strictly under copyright.

Leo Weiner also transcribed Liszt's "Feux follets" and the "Weinen, Klagen" Variations. Both have been published and are still in print as study scores. The Liszt sonata transcription has been recorded, but I could so far not locate a score.
