Thank you very much for this volume Alfor. It fills a few gaps in this composers works, which are very welcome.

:D I'm sorry I used that. It's rather common to see those letters used online in several cases. I really meant for the win and that's the more usual idea. Because Michalowsky deserves it! However there are some of those acronyms posted by you who are quite funny.

Rumor has it that Dr. H. is a successful fox hunter. So he probably does not need this one.
But other less successful hunters may be interested, I hope.

Robert FUCHS
(Roberto VOLPE)
Zwölf Etuden op. 31
Heft 1.
Fuchs 12 Etuden op.31 H.1.pdf
Heft 2.
Fuchs 12 Etuden op.31. H.2.pdf
(Heft 3. will be posted tomorrow!)

Surely his longest piano work, and one of his most ambitious.

Dear Alfred,

Ja, ich bin der Fuchsjager!! I love this composer, and the Op. 31 Etudes are just wonderful. Even though I did have the score, still your impeccable scans are so much superior and easy on old eyes as well. Thank you so much for these. I also have been meaning to thank you for the great Michalowski collection. This composer is very near and dear to my heart. :D As always, I so greatly appreciate all of your scanning efforts here, and for bringing to light the music of unjustly obscure Romantic composers!!

All Best,

Frank (a.k.a. Dr. H  )

Thank you for feedback!!!

I postpone the Fuchs Etuden Heft 3 until tomorrow,

I simply have to dedicate this scan to Frank:

Franz von HOLSTEIN

(German composer, 1826-1878. Pupil of Moritz Hauptmann and Moscheles. Composed several operas.)
Sonate (C-moll) op. 28
Holstein, Franz von Sonate op. 28.pdf
One more example of a fine but completely forgotten 19th century piano sonata.

Dear Alfor

Thanks for the latest Michalowski, one of your worthiest rediscoveries.
