Dear alfor,
Thank you for the Elegien of Gustav Weber. I have wanted to see more of his works since I posted the Piano Sonata.
The only work of his I had. They look very interesting, and quite difficult in places. If you find any more of his piano works
I would be more than happy.
Best wishes.
Peter.

Very rare:
Prinz Karneval
Kleine Klavierstücke in Tanzform für die Jugend
Idyllen f. Klavier op. 7
Heft 1 Ein Frühlings-Morgen; Schmetterlinge; Träumerei.
Heft 2 Waldpoesie; Ballett der Gnomen und Sylphiden; Das Jahrmarktfest zu Seldwyla; Humoreske.
Schmetterlinge (Butterflies) has been issued by Schirmer in a series called "Gems of Piano Music".
5 Klavierstücke op. 9 (have been reissued by Amadeus)
This plus op. 1 and op. 6 is probably all what he wrote for piano solo.

Dear Alfor, thank you indeed for the Weber Elegien. It is great to finally have another piece to play by this interesting composer as I had always wonder what he did after his op.1 Sonata. These Elegien seem rather misnamed to me, but are certainly very grateful to play.

Let's hope Hobbypianist doesn't mind - to me the quality of his scan looks absolutely fine.
Of course I don't mind

, it's always good to have alternative scans.
I absolutely appreciate Alfor's high quality scans. Sometimes I think any rare composer must have been discovered meanwhile, but he finds even more interesting and unknown scores.

Without any alternative scan

:

Hexameron 6 Klavierstücke op. 97
Karg-Elert Hexameron op.97.pdf
Surely among Sigi's best achievements for solo piano

A truly remarkable piece, the Op.97.
The piano writing is simply glorious. Very Lisztian and hugely effective. Some very interesting harmonies place it somewhat past the Romantic period, but surely there in spirit.
Am struggling a bit interpreting his very explicit dynamic markings--even more here than in some of his other pieces. This piece definitely belongs in the pantheon of great early 20th century piano writing.
Thanks for posting this great work, Alfor.
