I know that the Horowitz Carmen Variations have been transcribed at various times, both from live performances and his DuoArt piano roll recording...but here is yet another! Back in 1984 I transcribed the Horowitz DuoArt roll, note for note, and the results are attached. This calligraphy is about as good as mine gets, hence later on I re-notated some of my transcriptions with Encore software....but all of this is so much work and consumes more time than I have available. I will be posting all of my transcriptions over the next few weeks, all in their appropriate categories. Enjoy (and try to play it!)

Speaking of Horowitz - the unofficial authoritative site for Horowitz transcriptions is:
http://vkgfx.com/
To give you an idea of its scope, they have 10 different transcriptions of the Carmen Variations
The same site has an easy-to-miss link to a fairly large collection of general classical scores. Kind of a smaller version of the Walter Cosand site.
http://vkgfx.com/scores/
Frank, if you're so inclined, I suspect they'd be interested in adding your Horowitz transcriptions. But the site owner seems to keep a low profile (maybe legal concerns??). The only contact info I've been able to find is the email address that shows up if you click the paypal link to donate:
valarking@gmail.com

Bill,
Thanks for this important piece of information. Of course I will be in touch with them and offer my transcription up to their archive. Their classical collection sounds interesting; I think a little afternoon browsing is in order!
