Many thanks for the Walter Niemann link. What a wonderful folio this is..regardless if the tunes duplicate what we already have! Some might very well be new to us. I'll check to be certain. Nice to see activity on the Niemann link again!

I checked and we already have all 10 pieces. Still it is nice a well chosen collection of Niemann's pieces. Thanks for posting this.

I read in alfors thread today that you don't have Niemann's op.17 - I scanned this nearly two years ago as one of the last Niemann scores I had found. Obviously I forgot to post it here, but it's never too late ...

Thank you Paul for the op.17. You have been instrumental in bringing a lot of Nieman's rare music to Pianophilia, and I thank you. Niemann is my favorite hausmusik composer, and I frequently turn to him for a relaxing adventure.

I just came across this scan of a collection of Niemann's children's pieces "Der lustige Musikmeister" Op123 which I haven't seen before--I hope it hasn't already been posted.
