Thank you Jim for these precious recordings. I am not sure that Germaine Thyssens-Valentin really studied piano with Fauré, but Fauré was at the head of the Conservatoire when she studied there under Isidor Philipp and Marguerite Long.

Really lovely version of this work. Nice to hear a modernish (first 3rd of 20th cent.) work be so lyrical and tonal. A refreshing 'wont make your ears bleed' type of work
