Hello

In think, that it exists a Fantasy on Smetana's Ma Vlast, done by H. de Kaan.
If my assumption is true, I ask politely for this work.

thank you

Is there any transcription of the overture from Rossini's "Il signor Bruschino"? It seems to be one of the few of his operas with no arrangements that I can tell.

every vocal score of the opera has the ouverture (or better sinfonia) in a piano solo arrangement

Does anyone have the transcriptions for piano solo 2H of Dimitri Kabalevsky concerts for piano, violin and cello and the opera Colas Breugnon?.

Thanks.

Thanks very much for the Kaan fantasia, Caprotti. It's not often we see such virtuoso pieces posted, and this is a humdinger.

Humperdinck Hänsel and Gretel transcription

Post by tzsolti »

One day I listened to the radio and heard Humperdinck playing his own transcription for piano of the Hänsel and Gretel (recorded in 1905). Does anyone has the score of it?

Sorry no luck on the score of this, but the recording for Red Welte reproducing rolls (in Freiburg) survives and is possibly what you had heard on the radio. Attached is a midi file with full Welte expression of "Hansel Und Gretel" as played by the composer Engelbert Humperdinck. Enjoy!

All best,
Frank :D
