I am so glad i did not throw away my old records. I even kept the 78's which i sometimes play on my grandmothers 1910 gramaphone, with a bamboo needle.

Winding up the spring every 3 discs is excellent exercise.

The modern generation have it too easy with their mp3's and i pods.

rant, rant, blah blah, not in my day, rant blah.

Thank you, Alfor, for this item ! Indeed good pieces, especially the crazy second one.

Hi Alfor,

Thanks for the recent Tausig scans. I saw Vol 1 & 3. Did I miss Vol 2? Or maybe that one hasn't been found yet?

Thanks
Bill

I should do a bit research in this matter, but I am quite convinced that for a person born in 1897 into a roman catholic family in Reichenberg in Bohemia, the first name "Hansmaria" is not that unusual!
Correction: I did a bit of research:
You are right: The version in one word is indeed quite rare, while Hans Maria or Hans-Maria is quite familiar.

Dear Alfor,

Your recent 600 dpi postings are simply magnificent!! State of the art rendering in my humble opinion. The 3 Tausig volumes are in particular an absolute treasure to own, and I wanted to thank you personally for all of your incredibly hard work and supreme generosity. Your postings bring a great joy to me every day, and I always look forward to them.

Ausgezeichnet!! Vielen Dank,

Frank

Thank you so much Alfor for those wonderful pieces and also the quality of the scans you bring to us...Let me just ask, to be sure. It is vol.2a and vol.2b it isnt'? I think it is not 1.
Best regards.
