Dear Luigi,
Certainly I will scan "Hot Coffee" and "The Candy Rag" for you...I just need to get through the unfiled music stacks which are still in storage after our move! However, I do have a midi file of "Candy" which I made from the sheet music score, and am attaching that. The second and third themes are so close to 12th st. Rag that I personally have always felt that Bowman at least got the idea from "The Candy Rag," as the similarities are so blatant. Thanks for the Piano Price Rag score, that is a nice piece of ragtime history. Keep the rags rolling along!

Tomorrow I'll post the manuscript of "12th Street Rag", as notated by Euday Bowman's sister (she wrote down all the pieces Euday played): there's an interesting detail about that....

I have scanned Mayerl's Mistletoe (kiss,kiss) Robots, Weeping Willow, 3 Contrasts, and 3 Dances in Syncopation.

I do have the three Syncopated Rambles, but my copy is not all that good, and in "The Printer's Devil" 8 bars after the Blues tempo (in strict rhythm)
my copy has an exta beat in that bar, scribbled out by whomever. which looks a bit messy. If you have a better copy, could you please do this set of three pieces.

Speaking of older schools of syncopations, I'd post here two manuscripts by Euday Bowman (a favorite ragtime pianist of mine!).
In another thread, Frank Himpsl has kindly posted his notation of a Bowman manuscript (see: viewtopic.php?f=11&t=441&start=80#p6201 ).
As promised, here I attach the Euday Bowman original manuscript of his "12th Street Rag" and of an obscure song that he wrote, "Spider On The Wall" (I also include a midi file of Spider, since it's so obscure).
"12th Street Rag" in manuscript form is very very similar to the original publications of 1914 and 1915, but not identical.
Bowman himself has recorded this piece for three times at least, in 1924, in 1938 and in 1946 circa. I don't have the 1924 recording, but I have the other two (and a song that he sang at the piano, again recorded in 1946), if you're interested.
According to fellow ragtime pioneer Brun Campbell, Mary Bowman, Euday's sister, originally wrote part of the tune (see the Campbell article on Bowman here: http://www.ragtimemusic.com/songhtm/12thstrg.htm ).
That's very interesting. I've also heard that all those manuscripts of Euday Bowman were notated by Mary from Euday's piano playing, although I think that Euday was able to write music.
Now I seem to remember that Richard Zimmerman wrote that Bowman had actually first composed the "12th Street Rag" in 1908 and played it for years, improving it until he finally self-published it in 1914.
I read somewhere that Bowman had lost one leg. I wonder if that's true, but that makes me think of another one-legged fascinating folk ragtime artist, an obscure pianist of whom I'd like to know more, named W.H. Petway.
I'm attaching one of his rags, "That Dog Gone Rag", and I also include the cover of the piece because it features a picture of Petway.
Although a bit repetitive, I think that's a great rag and also quite well scored.
