Mballan, do you or anyone else have scores of Turina's songs (and maybe chamber music)? Thank you so much for your posts. I enjoyed playing through them, as I always do with Turina.

Sorry, I tend to concentrate primarily on piano music, and do not have any songs or chamber works by Turina.

IMSLP has the Piano Quintet op1, the Piano Quartet op4 & Scene Andalouse op7.
Must admit I would like to see the Violin Sonatas in particular.

I don't have songs... but the 2 piano trios.

Turina_op.76_Klaviertrio_Nr.2.pdf
(sorry, not the best scan of No.2, but legible)

Sir Peter, I thank you for sharing the Turina piece....an important addition to my meager collection of this composer and great fun to play.

I've frequently seen Felipe Pedrell (1841-1922) referred to as "the father of Spanish music", but I have yet to see any piano scores by him. Grove mentions several piano suites as well as many waltzes, nocturnes, impromptus, scherzos etc. IMSLP includes numerous works that he edited, but only two of his original compositions (both of them vocal works) are to be found there.

Any ideas, folks?

Jo
