I once remember looking at some online lists of manuscript holdings. I can't remember how I accessed these, but they used to exist.

Sibley have just released a scan of the three Novellen op.17 by Medtner. I have combined the three individual files and cropped for better printing and reading.

Op 5 is actually Eight Preludes [five preludes is a mistake]; and Op 9 Eight pieces was published by Universal Edition in Austria so worth e-mailing them to see if they may be able to produce a photocopy of the score for you [they have sent me photocopies of scores in the past and were fairly reasonable on price].
Both scores however, are on my 'hunting' list.
