The USSR Ministry of Culture, indeed! The all too well known story of Shostakovich always comes to mind, but we should not forget the effect on other composers. There certainly is a dramatic change in style in his later works as we see here in this volume.

Does anyone know if there are available any editions of Scriabin's Preludes and Etudes with fingering notation? Belaieff and Igumnov don't offer this. In particular, I'm working on his Etude Op8#6 and could really use some 'advanced' fingering suggestions.

Alfred, thank you for another nice Feinberg scan in Vol IIIc. Here we see simpler pieces in the first part of the volume but later becoming more complex. Of so it seem to me. Oddly, I prefer the earlier pieces in the volume.

I certainly wont ask for more. I stupidly didn't even bother to check sheet music plus for other editions and didn't realise there was a Peters edition. I think I must get it. - But the price of that Japanese edition is a bit dear for me.

„zen-on piano library“ --- surprisingly I did not find on this website the zen-on Scriabin editions offered by Schott.
P.S. It would rather be Malcolm risking jailtime
