this is from a book by Kurt Stephenson simply says anthology of music, this volume was the classics, published by Arno Volk Verlag Cologne 1962. I couldn't find much about it so I did this solely as musical example of an otherwise out of print work

edit I found it, the citations page eluded me , I pulled out the book and it says it's by Hugo Reimann I can fix the title of the uploaded file and re attach tomorrow

I must confess that the Contradances are the only Mozart compositions that I never listen to, mainly because I can’t stand the circumstances surrounding it. At that time the only job the emperor would give him was to compose Contradances for the court dances. What a waste of his precious time! Tomorrow I’ll make an exception and play your transcriptions. I’m sure that won’t be a waste of time!
