For the record, it was also published in a Faber edition of six pieces: "The Solo Piano Music 1924-1932" which comprises:

* Nocturne
* Jig

The first 4 works are based on tunes from Whittaker's North Countrie Ballads, Song and Pipe-Tunes.
Various combinations of the six have been published under different titles.

I see, so it’s under copyright © 2013 by Bardic Editions. Fortuitously, I just started an evening course at Morley College (where Holst and Tippett worked) and found the Cecil Coles pieces in the library. So I can’t share them on the feed but any interested may dm.

I have recently acquired the manuscript of Concerto in G minor for pianoforte composed by Francis Edward Bache. Judging by the quality of his recorded E-major Concerto Op.18, I expect this concerto to be of similar or better quality. However, the writings are tough to "decipher". If anyone is interested in the task of deciphering, I can share it without cost. Attached a few examples:

Far from the worst I've seen. I'd volunteer but I've just had an(other) eye operation and won't be up to this sort of detail for months.
My recommendation is to "learn by doing" - sit down with a notation program and make a best effort. It's often the case in longer works that you learn the composer's handwriting as you go, and that later repeated measures will clarify early ambiguous passages

Dear Pianophilians,

Is there any chance to acquire the scores of York Bowen's piano sonatas that are not uploaded on IMSLP? I am specifically referring to his sonatas Nos. 1 in B minor, 2 in C-sharp minor and 3 in D minor.

As far as I know, these are within the archives of the Royal Academy of Music, but I don't have any opportunities to see those scores myself.
