Borowski is having a temporary moment in the spotlight, as his violin and piano piece 'Adoration' is on the current ABRSM Grade 7 violin syllabus, in which capacity I have accompanied it several times!

A veritable cornucopia of works by Sydney Rosenbloom (1886-?).....strangely can't seem to find a date when Rosenbloom died ?

Phillip Sear has played several of Rosebloom's pieces... he mentions 1889 - 1967 as his dates. Perhaps he can give a reference. Curious that I should mention Phillip's channel on two threads today!

Anybody wants the full score of John Irelands 2 Symphonic Studies? (Fuga - Toccata). Arranged by Geoffrey Bush. The musical Material is taken from unpublished sections of Irelands score for the film THE OVERLANDERS.
Anybody tell me if interested, so i scan it.

All I know Malcolm is here from the Dictionary of Organs and Organists pub. G.A.Mate & Son 1921:

Born at Swansea, Trained at T.C.L.
Deputy-Organist at Swansea Parish Church 1904-1908
Private organist to the late Earl of Carysfort,
Organist and Choirmaster at St. Saviours Parish Church, Arklow 1909-1918
Organist and Choirmaster Swansea Parish Church since 1919

From this one can extrapolate that he was born around 1882-4, did no war service in the 1st world war, didn't stray far from his Welsh roots, was well trained as an organist and as was common in those days all-round musicianship, the requirements of FRCO were extremely severe and would frighten any normal instrumentalist, the standard and requirements were awesome.
