Dear Paul, I'd like to add my personal thanks for all your hard work in copying these Niemann scores. I have spent many very enjoyable hours playing through these ravishing compositions, which bring great joy and happiness. Your generosity has provided us all with a wonderful collection of music from a man whose work has all been forgotten, and most unjustly so. A great contribution. This last op.77 is a charming set of little characteristic sketches. Thanks again for your efforts, Paul. I certainly agree with Frank's sentiments. Niemann's work should not be forgotten and his wide-ranging music needs to be played.

- we still don't have a complete Niemann collection so we have some more work to do
- I am too young to get a honorary award

Great! No problem at all. Just an opportunity to point out again that in single composer threads anything goes. It's really useful to have all such things pertaining to one individual all in one place. If fact, we really don't have enough single composer threads. Members have been very abstemious in creating fresh threads - perhaps understandably given some of the madness we've previously seen. But we have SIX administrators and so could control whatever happens in any case. Sensible & thoughtful new threads are always very welcome.

We can't be far off a complete Niemann surely? I assume Sibley @ Rochester are following the terrific efforts here?

Dear Rob,
thanks for putting the idea in my head to have a look at the Sibley catalogue - I just ordered there three more Nimann scores - a study from op.57 and two Stimmungsbilder from op.61 - not enough though to make these two opp. complete.
