Mervyn Roberts 1906-1990

If there is permission from the estate and a legible hand-score I would consider it.

Philip Knapton 1788-1833 English organist and composer

Mrs Macdonald - a favorite Scotch air
KNAPTON Mrs Macdonald - a favorite Scotch air (ms).pdf
This work is on IMSLP but I encountered it in a better scan from the National Library of Australia's online collection. The actual engraving is not the clearest so I've done my own. For fans of William Vincent Wallace et al.

Hello everyone,

I just finished Quartet, a new biography of Ethel Smyth, Rebecca Clarke, Dorothy Howell, and Doreen Carwithen and am very interested in exploring their works. Sadly, these seem to be very difficult to find. Does anyone know how I could find a copy of Howell’s 1955 Piano Sonata?

Thanks!

According to The Life and Works of Dorothy Howell By Vincent James Byrne (PDF is one of the first links on Google)
SPW 29: Sonata in E Minor, 1955
Although this piece has never been published, it was recorded by pianist James Waller as part of a tribute to the composer on BBC Radio 3 in December 1982, following Howell’s death. A well persevered manuscript and several photocopies of this piece can be found at the archives of the DHT (Dorothy Howell Trust, Bewdley). Printed copy at RNC. (Royal Northern College Library, Manchester)

He music is still well in copyright. Some is available through standard sellers e,g, https://www.prestomusic.com/sheet-music ... rument=951 or you can try the resources mentioned a few posts above.

Is there anything you are specifically after?
