Very grateful if you can post the remaining Lysenko works [and already thank you for the Op 5 Polonaise]. Excellent to finally fill some of the gaps.

These are all available from:

...although all of the original publisher's information and pages numbers have been scrubbed and the siteowner's own headers and footers have been added to the files.

Yakov Yefimovich Stollyar. Born 1890, Odesa: died 1961, Moscow. Soviet composer. Graduated from the Moscow Conservatoire in 1927, after studies in composition with Catoire. From 1924-35 he taught at the Glazunov Music School in Moscow. Noted film composer, also composed two operas, one symphony, a number of songs alongside his works for stage and film.
Stollyar appears to have written only two primary works for piano - both duly posted.

Another relatively unknown -
Chari Esenovich Artikov. Born 1920 in Ashgabat, Turkmenistan. Composer. From 1938-1941 he studied the trombone at the National Deputy School of the Moscow Conservatoire at Turilkina. In 1963, he graduated from the Tashkent Conservatoire after studies in composition with Zeydman. Since 1958 Director of Music School No. 1 in Ashgabat.
Artikov has only composed a small selection of piano pieces, and beyond the Children's Album, the majority are included in this album. Titles of each piece as follows:
1. Elegy
2. Scherzo
3. Two Preludes
4. Little Capriccio
5. Song without Words
6. Reflection

Shchurovsky Toccata

Hi all
For years, I have been searching for the Shchurovsky Toccata score. Even though there are several short pieces of Shchurovsky published in various Russian and Soviet anthologies, the Toccata remains elusive. Could it be that so rare that it is now forgotten?
It is well written and appears to be very pianistic.
Does anyone out there have a copy that they can post? Or tell me where it has been published?
