No problem, Alfor. It was extremely hard to find in this piano version,
but I wanted to share it because it's my favourite Ireland work, which
I've also got in fs.

The middle section sounds very Elgarian to me. It would be an absolutely
brilliant piece to play at the last night of the Proms, if only the Proms
programmers had a bit more imagination. Notice that it uses the 'V' motif,
a bit like the one in Beethoven's 5th.

Thank you very much for the Ireland Epic March--I had no idea there was a piano version of the piece. This march is certainly one or Ireland's masterpieces.

Mercuizio ! That is quite a nice job transcribing that Prokofiev Dance of the Mandolins. Seems much like a waltz parody what with the left hand "wrong notes" trying to interrupt the flow.

Have had quite a day with Prokofiev this afternoon!

Mercuzio, while I can't play Summertime the way I'd like what with my small hands not being able to span a 10th, I want to give a big "thumbs up" for your transcription of "Scarborough Fair" which I find quite exquisite and caused me to search for my own Scarborough Fair Variations which I wrote some decades ago in my youth and I see now that I could have gone much further with it thanks to your transcription.

Looks interesting. Thank you!

I recall young Placido Domingo playing Summertime on TV
in a convincing way. At that time he was not exactly handsome -
in fact he was really fat! But a good pianist and musician!
(Maybe this is on youtube?)
