Rudolf Friml (1879-1972). We have had a number of miniatures posted previous by Mr P and myself - here is his more substantial Russian Suite. NOTE: Please ignore page numbering, the publisher did a different layout of the four pieces when this was published - I have scanned it in the correct order.

Maybe not ilu, I believe this particular Friml Malcolm discovered was a descendant (ascendant?) of P.D.Q. Bach (1807-1742)

Yes, originally published at the University of Southern North Dakota at Hoople.

Zdenek Fibich (1850-1900). Bit of a mystery on this work - could not find no record on the IMSLP list of the composer's works (unless it comes from one of the larger works for piano] ? And hopefully has not been posted previosly on Pianophilia.

the sonatina comes from the book Großen theoretisch-praktischen Klavierschule, Prag, Fr. A. Urbanek, 1885, by Fibich and Malat.
