A recently acquired photocopy of Opus 32, scanned at 600dpi. I cleaned up what I could of the xerox artifacts, but a couple of pages do still have some noise on them.

This version is public domain in the U.S. and Canada.
And I would like to add.......may your enthusaism know no bounds and you complete your mission eventually :D

Thank you Allan for sharing more Palmgren with us.....I watch out for your scans quite avidly.

Sigurd Lie (1871-1904). Norwegian composer. Pupil of Linderman and Holter; then studied at the Leipzig Conservatoire (1891-93). Spent several years living in Berlin, then returned to Norway where he was appointed conductor of the "Handelsstand Sangforening" in Christinia (1902). Among his sizeable output of chamber music, orchestral pieces and songs are the two Norwegian dances for violin and piano and the famous song Sne (‘Snow’) which remain in the Norwegian repertory.

I have posted his "Aarstidsbilleder" - Four Pieces [thank you Mr P].

Yay!!! :D

I currently have an interlibrary loan request in for Op. 51. If it can be filled I should be able to supply Nos. 3 and 4 before the end of the year.

Thanks for all the pieces by Palmgren, Malcolm. Does anyone have means ( calling all the rarities experts ) to find Erkki Melartin Fantasia Apocaliptica? That would be one amazing find. Thanks.

This can be purchased from the Finnish Music Information Centre for a paltry 6 euros.

The service I have had from these people is first class.
