For those of you who haven't seen Edson Jeffery's new transcription of the Carmen Variations by Horowitz (a work not under copyright), it can be downloaded from this link:

http://vkgfx.com/scores/horowitz/ejeffery_1968.pdf

There have been many previous transcriptions, but this one appears to be the most accurate. Jeffery claims to have studied Horowitz's televised performance of the work frame by frame.

No problem, and thanks for your PM.

It seems strange to think that we were without IMSLP for well over a year
- thanks to one litigious music publisher!

Anyway, here's a bit of Gounod.

These 12 German Dances
Haydn 12 German Dances (2H Frey).pdf
are probably Hob.IX No.10, and based
on melodies from the opera L'abore di Diana by Martin y Soler.

A complete version of this work
Mozart Quintet in C minor K406 (Movts 2-4) (2H NN).pdf
, together with Mozza's other mature string
quintets arranged for piano is, of course, available in facsimile from Elibron.

The day that happens is the day I stop breathing!
Which symphony is this slow movt. from? A quick
bit of research on my part failed to identify it.
