Hello All - Once again heartfelt thanks to Paul for all the wonderful Niemann scores that he has been generous to scan and post for us. Very lush, beautiful piano music. I recently discovered that two Niemann compositions were recorded on welte-Mignon piano rolls and would like to share the midi files of these. The tunes are:
Singende Fontane. Op. 30
Wasserspiele. Op. 69
Both rolls are played by one George Liebling, about whom I know essentially nothing. The midi files are attached below.
Best To All,
Frank Himpsl

Thanks for these scores, Paul. The Colored Lanterns are especially nice. I have not found this version of op.64 "Efeu und Rosen" and wonder if it has been posted yet? Thanks again.

Caprotti:
Thank you for your message, it should be an edition mistake because it is published as opus 64.

Dear friends,
sorry for my long silence but I was kept quite busy by my school work for the last weeks. But now I had some minutes for the scanner. Here are two more Niemann scores - just one more to do (Harzreise op.77).
Niemann W op.158 Der Artushof.pdf
Niemann W op.149a Alte niederdeutsche Volkstänze.pdf

Thanks for these two pieces to add to our repository of Mr Niemann. The op.158 is simply charming. Only one more to go?

Alas, I guess we are coming to the end. We all welcome the major contributions you have made to the Niemann archive, Paul.

... and finally the Harzreise op.77, which is the last one I have at the moment. Let's see whether alfor has success with unearthing some of the missing pieces. I will also try to find the manuscripts but this will take some time.

Many thanks for your excellent contribution with Niemann, a composer I have always liked and collected myself. You have helped to fill numerous gaps for which, I am extremely grateful. My hat is off to you for managing to locate these rare scores. Mega thanks
Malcolm
