Genius transcription.
Thank you very very much !

Do you perhaps also consider in future to write a transcription
of Mahler:
Lieder eines fahrenden Gesellen, No.3
"Ich hab' ein glühend Messer in meiner Brust"
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G_7Hp40JQBA

For me it is the most beautiful song that haver ever been written.

Thanks Didi,
Until now I arranged only N. 2 and 4
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-kMEyqiiRg4
Lieder eines fahrenden Gesellen No. 4 (Gustav Mahler).pdf
In future I will try to complete the Lieder eines fahrenden Gesellen song cycle.

Helen Rhodes went by the pen name Guy d'Hardelot, so this may also have gone under women composers, but the original is voice and piano I believe. Dr. Google along w Nurse YouTube only brought some other versions.

Albert Sirmay is a name i ha e seen in other scores i own. This is a lovely laying out of the the tune
*will need to rename file, my phone messes up the original file name for yhe upload....

would love to see/find more of her work
wiki (which mentions her success and also that her sister composed as well)

MARVIN KAHN ASCAP
cannot find much of anything for this person other than a very old newspaper article where he co lectured with somone and the article mentioned he wrote / did some music reviews in new york city and his name appers here and there associated w some other popular tunes around first half of 20th century. Any help w additional bio info is much appreciated. Was not quite sure where to place this but the idiom seems to lean towards jazzyish or realized swing feel and novelty like in its construction and title.
file needs renaming do to upload from mobile device
Kahn%2C%20Marvin%20-%20Lazy%20Daze.pdf

edit
this was mistakenly uploaded to tue wrong thread, this was intended to appear in the jazz board, had multiple windows open on mobile and somehow got them crossed. Apologies

Actually this scan, though slightly crooked, is perfectly readable. I find that the best way to 'scan' old music, especially fragile, large-sized and where bound in hardbacked collections, is to use a smartphone scanner like MDScan (Android), with which you can photograph the pages, then use the program to crop, straighten and convert to black-on-white, then export to pdf. All of this can be done on the phone itself. The results may not be as professional as you would get with a flatbed scanner, but it speeds up the process, and does little harm to the originals.
