Very interesting! Thanks a lot. Alas, not only is No. 24 missing, but also No. 20, apparently for left hand alone.

Giorni - apologies....forgot to also say No. 20 was also missing....maybe a challenge to another member to track those down ?
Two different sets of Etudes for those nimble-fingered enthusiasts [thank you Mr P].
Heinrich Kann-Albest [Henri de Kaan] (1852-1926) Polish pianist and composer. Studied in Prague with Blodek and Skuhersky; went with Dvorak to London in 1884 and from 1889 taught piano at the Prague Conservatoire [director from 1907-18]. Wrote two operas, two ballets, a symphonic poem for orchestra, plus many piano pieces.

I'm sure
Ferdinand Ries (1784-1838) needs little introduction - one of the most noted composers of the early Romantic period. His Op 31 Etudes.

The violinist and pianist
Hubert-Ferdinand Kufferath (1818 - 1896). Studied first with his brothers and then violin with Hartmann in Cologne; and then with David and Mendelssohn in Leipzig. From 1841-44 he was the conductor of the Mannergesangerverein of Cologne; then settled in Brussels where he taught members of the Royal Family. In 1872 he became a professor at the Brussels Conservatoire. He wrote symphonies, paino concertos, choral pieces and numerous piano pieces.
I have posted his Six Concert Etudes Op 8.

Does anyone have the Etudes Op.51 and 103 by J.C.Kessler, I am looking for a very Chopinesque Etude in C which is a clone of Op.10 No.1 and I don't know which set it comes from, in any case it is not from Op.20 or Op.100

thanks for trying Oren, but alas that isn't it either, I have since discovered that Kessler also wrote etudes with opus numbers 49, 70 and 76 plus an arpeggio study without an opus number. Hopefully someone might be able to find some of these other opuses
