Just a note, that outside of the library holdings that can be found fairly quickly, it seems to be more frequently found in several editions using the German title: TRAUME AM BOSPORUS
The first of these has a scan of the first page.

From Polona
Carl Gänschals (1847–1906), actually Johann Friedrich Theodor Gänsehals, pseudonym "Theodor Espen"

Does anybody have a copy of August Alexander Klengel's 24 Canons 'Les Avantcoureurs' from 1841? More than a decade ago, Steffen Fahl posted a recording of these canons and of two separate sets of canons and fugues published 1854-1855. It was noted that the canons and fugues were on IMSLP but the 1841 canons weren't, and Steffen put a link on his website for the score - but that link is long dead.
As Steffen's website is still up and he still seems to be active, I've reached out to him to ask if he still has this score, but I'm also wondering if anybody here downloaded the score while it was still accessible from Steffen's website - and if so, could you share that score? Thank you!

Here are 24 Canons of Klengel. Hopefully they are the ones that you seek.
