oh man, I'm sorry, I saw "South America" excluding Brazil and Argentina, I must have missed a specific Argentina thread? Is there one? Should I relocate these to that? If there is not, is this the 'best place' for them from the options?

I think more in terms of Pan America, but you're totally correct, Agrentina is most definately not central.

I attempted to search for scores and came up with "nada" , I can remove these and repost there, and if there is a copyright issue we can promptly permantenly take it down but I could not find these preludes anywhere for sale .

Marina Saiz Salazr (1930-1990?) - Panama
not a lot of bio infor available online for her (score has some in Spanish w/ an English translation).
Entry in "Piano Music by Women Composers, Volume II: Women Born after 1900) by Pamela Youngdahl Dees states
"Sonata (Pan American Union 1954-1955). In three movements, all duple meters, Dramatic, with much rhythmic drive, disjunct motion, neoclassic with chromatic dissonance....Late Int-Early Advanced... Also- Preludes for Piano

Score did a full color scan for time reasons, dpi should be high enough to render a good black and white reduction if someone would like to help with that (I do not have the software capabilities to do that, I can only render those if I convert before saving the file at the library scanner).
would love to get her preludes up here if anyone has access (most likely in South America, worldcat shows no other entries for her though the book excerpt definitely names these works.)

To say that I am surprised to encounter this score would be a vast understatement. And a very interesting sonata it is, too.
The National Institute of Music of Panama where she taught is something I've wanted to investigate for some time and I'm sure they may have some leads on Salazar.

I will see what I can find out about this next time I am in Panama City.
