Re: The Music of Ludwig van Beethoven
Hi, everybody !
I have found the edition of Alfredo Casella (Rcordi edition from 1919). Here's the link :
http://www.dlib.indiana.edu/variations/ ... index.html
I'm not very good in computer science. I would like to save these on my computer and convert them into PDF files ? I'm sure there is a way to do that without losing image quality , but I don't know how. Could anyone help ?
Thanks in advance.

I do not know what you have available, but the obvious program is Adobe Acrobat Pro if you can afford it.
Do you have a friend who is a student or employee at a university that provides discounted prices or licenses? A licensed copy of that program would save you lots of hassles with such things.

two files, for a total of nearly 100 MB zipped into "Casella.rar", can be downloaded from
http://www.sendspace.com/file/fklem6
I downloaded automatically all the gifs thru a free sw called "flash get" (not exactly easy to use)

WONDERFUL to have the Casella edition. While we're on a roll, does anyone by any chance have the Schnabel edition?

Thank you for the Casella files, Caprotti.

Schnabel edition is still in print
http://www.amazon.com/dp/0739042149?tag ... H1VBSV6759&
He died in 1951, so his edition is still copyrighted.
