Malc, thanks so very much for the very illuminating Wieniawski Etudes. These are really enjoyable pieces to play and I really like Etude 7 -- much fun.

It's a pity that book 3 is not quoted in any library

apart from the musical value of the Etudes, the dedication of each one to the greatest living pianists is very very interesting !

Yes, is very interesting!!!

The book 3 is in Belgien

not exactly my standard of b/w image but better than nothing

again it's amazing to see all those names in the dedications

I don't have the time to check the dates of birth and death of all the dedicatees, but there are 2 possibilities :

- the etudes had been written by W. in different years
- in that single year of composition pianists and musicians of very different epochs were living
