Please avoid posting any currently available commercial recordings.
It is important that we protect the rights and investments particularly of the many small independent companies who are usually the supporters of the more obscure areas of the repertoire that are likely to interest members here.
Some of these companies are run on very small profit margins and are increasingly vulnerable to the pressures applied by the uploading of such recordings on the internet. So please do not request rips of such material since this will open us up to legal action from the owners and creators of such recordings.
If such recordings have been uploaded, the message will be deleted without warning. Additionally if members notice posts that infringe these guidelines, please report the details to one of the admin team as soon as possible.
Thank you

Are there any restrictions on posting any non-commercial recordings (broadcasts or what have you)?

No, other than file size. I would recommend less than 10Mbytes at this stage - there appears to be a system limit (php, not the phpBB3 software) around that figure.jre58591 wrote:Are there any restrictions on posting any non-commercial recordings (broadcasts or what have you)?
