Helen Rhodes went by the pen name Guy d'Hardelot, so this may also have gone under women composers, but the original is voice and piano I believe. Dr. Google along w Nurse YouTube only brought some other versions.

Albert Sirmay is a name i ha e seen in other scores i own. This is a lovely laying out of the the tune

cannot find much of anything for this person other than a very old newspaper article where he co lectured with somone and the article mentioned he wrote / did some music reviews in new york city and his name appers here and there associated w some other popular tunes around first half of 20th century. Any help w additional bio info is much appreciated. Was not quite sure where to place this but the idiom seems to lean towards jazzyish or realized swing feel and novelty like in its construction and title.

Alas pages insist on being drunkards lately haha I was somewhat limited in hardware lately for these as i used an overhead imager scanner and these old scores ca be quite fragile, have damaged a few in past trying to help them behave but will keep working ont it

Actually this scan, though slightly crooked, is perfectly readable. I find that the best way to 'scan' old music, especially fragile, large-sized and where bound in hardbacked collections, is to use a smartphone scanner like MDScan (Android), with which you can photograph the pages, then use the program to crop, straighten and convert to black-on-white, then export to pdf. All of this can be done on the phone itself. The results may not be as professional as you would get with a flatbed scanner, but it speeds up the process, and does little harm to the originals.
