Alfred, we've had a great run with all these interesting Gonzalez del Valle pieces you've uncovered for us. He has a great many pieces which go way beyond the simple salon type which we usually see. Meanwhile, I´ll be keeping an eye out for the few pieces of Gonzalez we don´t have.
The weather in Bocines makes me glad I´m not there.

Alexandre REY COLACO from Portugal:

Pianist Michael Habermann was not only the first pianist to record
piano works by Sorabji, but - perhaps for recreation
- he recorded some pieces by
Rey Colaco.

The day turned brighter with the surprise of another Gonzalez del Valle score. Nice transcriptions, especially "cancion y muiñeira de Chueca". On the other hand the two Rey Colaco are the kind of transcriptions we usually see...maybe some of his other scores are more interesting. Likely the first music from Portugal I've encountered.
Thank you, dear Alfred.

I'm sure this has been answered before but a search doesn't bring it up. I'm trying to find #11 and #12 of Mompou's Preludes (already have the first 10). Where can I order these? I can't find a publisher online and none of my local university libraries have a copy in their collection.

According to Worldcat they were published in 2004 by Tritó in Barcelona. (TR 188)passthesalt wrote:I'm sure this has been answered before but a search doesn't bring it up. Thanks for the quick reply, Jim. I'll see if I can get hold of these people.
