Re: Polish Composers
Thank you Pianojay.
Unfortunately, I didn't succeed in managing to download the file,
although my toolbar has now become Amazon-ised in the attempt.
Btw, I hadn't thought of using Blu-Tac!

I've attached it to my previous message: more user-friendly.

Re: Polish Composers
I'm sure everyone here is aware of John Cage's many prepared piano pieces. Seems he started something of a fad in the 30's. For anyone really wanting to get into the practical aspects of this, please check out Richard Bunger's "The Well-Prepared Piano".
Seems I've been introduced to a product new to me: Blu-Tack, which is certainly a far cry from Cage's Blending Stumps.

Re: Polish Composers
Pianojay, thanks again for your help.
Fleubis, Henry Cowell seems to have been another composer
who experimented with piano harmonics and prepared pianos.

Finally, apologies for drifting away from the subject of the thread!

Re: Polish Composers
Hello all,
Here is some rare Dobrzynski that I managed to dig up! If anyone can help w the display of the PDF files, that would be great. They did not come in ideal, but at least they are here!
Dobrzynski, Ignacy Feliks - Op. 03 - Les Charmes de Varsovie - Collection des Differentes Danses
This seems to be Part 01 of a larger set, as there are only Four Polonaises here.
