IMSLP have a work by Bax called Winter Waters.
Is that what you are looking for.
It was all I could find.

Peter.
Hello Peter.
Unfortunately, no. Water Music is a different piece written about 5 years later (1920). As far as I can tell, it has been out of print for quite a while, and is hard to get ahold of.
Thanks anyway.

Here are the Parry Variations you were looking for...
Dear Peter,

thanks for these!

I recently required a recording of the variations by the late Frank Merrick. If you are interested, I can post it.

Best regards

Dear Alfor,
I would very much like to hear the Frank Merrick performance if you
would be so kind.
Many thanks.

Great! If you could scan it, I would be most appreciative.

Charles Hallé (Karl Halle), of whom Soh Choon Wee posted earlier today seems to have been an interesting musical figure. I'm putting two links below worth looking into as well as the link to the available volumes of the Practical Pianoforte School on the internet archive site. There are several nice newly typeset piano music scores as well as a string quartet on IMSLP, all originating from the German site.

Sibley has just posted the Eight Lessons for the Harpsichord or Pianoforte of Samuel Arnold (1740 - 1802).

Thank you for the Curzon pieces, Malcolm.

I can just picture the River Lyn in Somerset when playing the first piece--very much like the Rio Caldera we have here.
