Re: French Piano Music
Would anyone have anything (I'm thinking etudes/sonatas) by the following elusive French composers:
Louis Lacombe
Antonin d'Argenton
Martin Lazare
Georges Mathias
Thanks

Thanks - I must have missed that one whilst perusing IMSLP.Jim Faston wrote:Lacombe's Sonate de Salon is available on IMSLP.
I hope to find music by the other composers too. Was asking here first in case someone already had access to ready-made scans.

I have the Grande Fantaisie on Der Freischutz Op.20 by D'Argenton which is still to be scanned, at least I don't remember scanning it.4candles wrote:Would anyone have anything (I'm thinking etudes/sonatas) by the following elusive French composers:

Thanks for the D'Argenton Grand Fantasy. This one is rather well done, I'd say.

Here's a collection of Claude Debussy piano music containing some old friends as well as a few transcriptions that I haven't seen in circulation:

Re: French Piano Music
I was checking IMSLP for Chaminade scores as I have found the first four opuses by her. As they are not on IMSLP I am posting them here. Opus 1 is Etude printaniere.
