Thank you very much!alegitor wrote:Here last part downloaded, enjoy!
Remarkable the pedaling of op. 25 No. 12 strictly "on the beat" -
cf. Emil Sauer's recording*:

*One of the best ever imho
Best regards, Alfor S. Cans

Re: Alfor's Rarities
Alfred, that Sauer recording of op.25 no.12 really is outstanding. This is the 2nd Chopin Etude I learned, many decades ago, and the pedaling i learned is just about like Michaelowski indicates. For me this turned out to be the easiest etude to learn since there is no thumb crossings. This etude is certainly a bombastic way for Chopin to finish out his sets of etudes.

Re: Alfor's Rarities
Thank you, dear alligator!
Don't know if we have all these (the original book edited by
Garvelmann with 13 transcriptions obviously out-of-print).

Re: Alfor's Rarities
Alfred, think I've got most of them, but still don't think all 13 of the waltz's have been posted. There is quite a bit of ingenuity in these transcriptions and many are quite challenging to play.
