Osborne
One of the most famous pieces by G.A. Osborne was his Pluie de Perles (rain of pearls), which can be downloaded here:

Ignace Leybach - Reveries du Soir
I was asked to scan this for someone, so I thought I might share this fun piece here! It is a caprice, and not the nocturne you might expect from the title.

Re: Salon music
Franz Hünten (1793-1878). German pianist and composer. Studied with his father, then at the age of 26 went to Paris and took courses at the conservatoire with Pradher (piano) and Cherubini (composition). Primarily composed salon music for the piano (fantaisies, variations on opera themes, waltzes etc.) – with some 250 opus numbers, the majority of which he got published. He was also a noted piano teacher in Paris – having accumulated considerable capital he returned to Coblenz in 1848 and remained there unil his death.
