I hope you have a good new year 2011.

I have a question that I can not find the solution. Does the ballet Stravinsky's Firebird an arrangement for piano four hands?

Thank you very much
The Firebird has been arranged for four hands (2 pianos) by Dag Achatz, who has recorded it with Roland Pontinen. My cursory research has not revealed whether his arrangement has been published. I hope this helps.

Incidentally, and mind-bogglingly, the Firebird has also been arranged for left hand alone by Raoul Sosa.

Cheers,

Hi, thanks for your help. It would have been great to have arranged the music for four hands (one piano) but will look if I published the comments.

It is truly curious, for left hand alone! A discovery XD

Thank you very much, I'll keep digging ... (continued)

Nutcracker transcription by Arensky?

Post by paolor »

According to OT there exists a four hand version of Tchaikowsky's Nutcracker by Arensky - would anyone have this by chance, or could give a hint to a possible location?

For what it is worth, IMSLP lists this and gives the publisher and date.

About Tchaikovsky,

Does anyone own the swan lake, transcribed for piano duet by Claude Debussy (Moscow, P. Jurgenson, 1881. 24 pages. Plate 4424 — Danses Russe, Espagnole et Napolitaine) or by E. Langer (Jurgenson) ?
Thanks.

Voilà a rarity as it seems. - Would anyone have Franck's trio or his symphonic poem "Psyché" as 4H-versions?

The "Rhapsodie in Blue" for piano duet. I had a hard time finding it, so I scanned for my friends pianophilia

Enjoy it

Thanks for the Rhapsody duet, Schumaniano. I've never seen a piano duet version of this before.

I had also scanned the Rhapsody in Blue piano duet, but hadn't thought to post it. I put it on an external download site, because my scan is larger:

Enjoy.

A pleasure to help and share. On many occasions I have been who I has been enjoying your contributions. For me it was also a pleasant surprise when I found the existence of this arrangement.
