Schumann's late chamber music often is rooted in folksong and somewhat "mendelssohnian" in character.
Here are 2 examples arr. for piano solo (very old and rare sheet material!).

Robert(o) SCHUMANN
Phantasiestücke für Piano, Violine & Violoncell op. 88
für das Pianoforte allein übertragen von J.B. Krall (in London)
Schumann Phantasiestücke op.88.pdf
Drei Romanzen für Hoboe ad libitum Violine oder Klarinette
mit Begleitung des Pianoforte op. 94
für das Pianoforte allein übertragen von J.B. Krall in London
Schumann 3 Romanzen op.94.pdf

Thank you Alfor, as far as I know they are only available at the Berlin Staatsbibl.

Are those local libraries listed in the general KVK (http://www.ubka.uni-karlsruhe.de/kvk.html) catalogue ?

I don't think so! You have to search their individual catalogues, as for example:

Dresden:

Leipzig (many rarities!!):

Munich:

Thank you very much for the Leipzig hint, I'll begin a detailed search.

In the meanwhile I noticed that Berlin has some rare Schumann 2H arrangements: anyone by chance ?

5 Stücke im Volkston
Violin sonata op.105 (2H Krall)
Maerchenerzaehlungen op.133 (2H Stark)
Liederkreis op.24 (2H Jadassohn)
Adagio u.Allegro hr.pf. (2H Krall)

AND Schubert : selected Lieder (2H W.Landowska) !

Still I am not able to find anywhere the attached 2H Schubert transcriptions for original 4H , published by Praeger & Meier
Schubert-Dietrich - 2H Transcriptions from 4H originals - ed.Praeger & Meier.pdf
