(I'm guessing your above message refers to Saint-Saens/Goetschius Symphony No.3.)
Yes it was, Tim: but my joy was more at the transcription than the pun, sorry
Don't worry - I get endless derision from my children for my own pun attempts.

I was referring to the Bach Sonatas, actually...I don't believe the PCs have been arranged for 2P.

Fred:
Thank you again for your assistance and your interest.
On http://imslp.org/wiki/6_Sonatas,_Op.5_( ... Christian)
There is only the sonata 2 (op.5) in the original form.
I also believe that there is not piano solo version -2h- for the
Mozart 3 concerti,K.107, but I will keep seeking.
Does anyone have a good quality scan of the complete Thalberg's Op.70? I was looking for No.20 (Transcription of Voi Che Sapete) in my collection and there was this typeset score which I particularly dislike
This is a desirable set... Any help would be great.
The No.20 was typeset by the same company (polymnia records) that issued the recording of the complete set old chap. The pianist was Victoria Power and she does a reasonable job, albeit her playing is a little dry.
I guess the best way to get a fresh scan of the lot would be to approach the Thalberg Study Centre in Naples, who if memory serves filled in a couple of gaps when we were trying to form a scan of the lot a few years back.
