Poulenc's Gloria is really a WONDERFUL work, Rob. Good luck for your concert.

Léon Kreutzer (1817-1868)

As I am interested in this practically unknown composer, I have taken the liberty of stripping some short songs of his out of 'Le Journal de Musique'. These songs were published in certain issues of the journal from June 1877 to June 1878. Original PDF downloaded from the Gallica database.

One of the libretti is by Victor Hugo.

Please excuse the poor quality of the original scan.
Kreutzer_Dieu qui sourit et qui donne.pdf
Kreutzer_La Brigantine.pdf
Kreutzer_L'Ange au berceau.pdf
Kreutzer_Le Ramier.pdf
Kreutzer_Or ca_la belle fille.pdf
Much other music besides these songs appears in the journal, some of which is rare, and includes works by Bach, Handel, Schubert etc.
